Christmas Magic

The Christmas Magic mission is to keep the spirit of hope alive in the lives of Long Island’s homeless and underprivileged children by fulfilling holiday wishes.

Christmas Magic is a 34 year old endeavor which provides young homeless children in shelters throughout Long Island with the Christmas presents of their dreams; presents which they would not otherwise receive but for the generosity of foundations such as The Morrison Foundation. As a result of The Morrison Foundation’s donation each year, Christmas Magic is able to provide gifts to over 12,000 children.   

In addition to our holiday efforts, The Morrison Foundation’s donations assist us each Summer in providing backpacks and school supplies to thousands of homeless kids on their way to begin a new school year through our Back Pack Pirates event. In conjunction with The Long Island Coalition for the Homeless, we collectively deliver a variety of support services for families and children in need.  With the help of The Morrison Foundation, our “Back Pack Pirates” program was able to reach over five thousand deserving and appreciative young kids last year.
